Aim and Objectives: | |
Minimally invasive surgery is currently widely applied in paediatric urology. Like in adults, minimally invasive surgery proved feasibility and safety in children with significant reduction of the morbidity and improved cosmetic outcome compared with the traditional open surgery. However, these minimally invasive treatment options need special training and special armamentarium. As the interest of minimally invasive surgery is increasing among paediatric urologists, therefore, this teaching course is designed to provide paediatric urologists basic knowledge and basic skills necessary for performing different minimally invasive procedures in paediatrics. |
